In 1924, master roaster Heinrich Brauer opened a small café on Schottengasse with a single conviction: that coffee, prepared with patience and reverence, could become a form of meditation.
Four generations later, Caffè Anima remains a sanctuary — where the hiss of steam, the scent of freshly ground beans, and the warmth of marble tables conspire to slow the world down.

Each coffee on our menu represents a relationship — with a farmer, a region, a harvest. We source directly, roast in-house, and serve with intention.
